Your adventure begins with an early-morning pick-up from your hotel in El Alamein. Meet your driver in the hotel lobby and begin your comfortable journey through Egypt’s Western Desert towards the beautiful Siwa Oasis.
The journey takes approximately 7 hours, with short stops along the way for rest and refreshments.
Upon arrival, begin exploring the beautiful and peaceful Siwa Oasis, famous for its palm groves, natural springs, ancient history and unique desert landscapes.
Your first stop is the ancient Temple of the Oracle of Amun, one of Siwa’s most important historical landmarks.
Discover the fascinating history of the oracle, which was highly respected in the ancient world and is famously associated with Alexander the Great.
Your guide will share the stories and history of this remarkable archaeological site.
Continue your Siwa adventure with a visit to the Mountain of the Dead (Gebel Al-Mawta).
Explore the ancient tombs carved into the mountain, dating from different periods of Egyptian history, including the Egyptian, Greek and Roman eras.
Learn more about the history and traditions surrounding this fascinating archaeological site.
After exploring Siwa’s historical attractions, enjoy a traditional local Siwan lunch.
Take some time to relax and taste authentic local dishes before continuing to the natural highlights of your trip.
Next, experience one of Siwa’s most unique natural attractions — the famous Salt Lakes.
Enjoy a refreshing swim and experience the incredible sensation of floating naturally in the highly saline water. The high salt concentration makes the water naturally buoyant, creating a fun and unforgettable experience.
Don't forget to bring your swimsuit and towel.
Please avoid wearing jewellery while swimming in the salt lakes.
Enjoy some relaxing time in Siwa, take photos and admire the beautiful scenery of the oasis and surrounding desert before beginning your return journey.
After completing your Siwa experience, begin your journey back to El Alamein in your comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
Short rest stops may be made during the journey.
At the end of your adventure, you will be dropped back at your hotel in El Alamein.
