Explore the iconic masterpieces of Cairo and Giza, starting with the majestic Great Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx. Your itinerary also includes a visit to the Queen’s small pyramids, the Valley Temple, and the Egyptian Museum, culminating with a shopping excursion at the famous Cairo Bazaar.
Early Morning: Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel in Aswan by a representative from Canary Tours. You will be transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo.
Arrival in Cairo: Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met and guided to the Giza Plateau to explore the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos.
Egyptian Museum: After lunch, head to the renowned Egyptian Museum, which houses an extensive collection of artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum showcases over 5,000 years of art, including more than 250,000 genuine artifacts—most notably, an exhibit dedicated to the treasures of Tutankhamun, which remained sealed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered in the 1920s.
Coptic Cairo: Next, venture into Coptic Cairo for insights into the rich Christian and Jewish heritage. Visit prominent sites such as the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Islamic Cairo: Continue your journey to Islamic Cairo, where you will have the opportunity to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo's historic bazaar, offering a vibrant atmosphere and unique shopping experiences.
Return to Aswan: Finally, you will be transferred back to Cairo Airport for your return flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
