Morning Pickup: Your dedicated tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Aswan. You'll embark on a scenic one-hour drive in a private air-conditioned vehicle to Kom Ombo.
Visit Kom Ombo Temple: At Kom Ombo, explore the unique double temple dedicated to Haroeris, the falcon god, and Sobek, the crocodile god. This temple, constructed during the Greco-Roman period in Egypt, showcases remarkable carved scenes, including depictions of the ancient Egyptian calendar and medical instruments. Don’t miss a visit to the Crocodile Museum, where you can view an impressive display of approximately 300 crocodile mummies.
Travel to Edfu: After your visit to Kom Ombo, continue your journey for approximately two hours to the city of Edfu.
Explore Edfu Temple: Upon arrival, you will visit the majestic Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus the falcon god. Renowned as the most intact and best-preserved temple in Egypt, Edfu Temple was constructed between 237 and 57 BC during the Ptolemaic era (332 – 30 BC). Return to Aswan: After your tour of Edfu, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Aswan. Alternatively, you have the option to continue to your hotel in Luxor at no additional cost.
