Opened in 2015, the Grand Aquarium Hurghada, also known as “The Red Sea in Glass” is dedicated to inspiring guests of all ages to appreciate the marine environment, while promoting conservation action and developing an understanding for the irreplaceable value of all life in our world’s oceans. By teaching children and adults the importance of conservation, ecology and stewardship, we believe they will apply this knowledge to make sustainable choices and take an active part in preserving our marine environment
It is a public Aquarium & Zoo. Upon arrival, enter a lush rainforest and visit the freshwater and marine aquariums to encounter up to 1,200 species in a series of 24 galleries all of which reside in 3,500 m3 of marine and fresh water, and is one of the largest aquariums.
Learn about the world's natural ecosystems and the aquariums efforts to improve animal management and conservation. See beautiful marine life, including stingrays, sharks and turtles, and get interactive at the touch tank!
