Once your trip is confirmed, you'll receive a confirmation email with your excursion details, including pickup time and location (typically around 5:00 AM, depending on your hotel). Our representative will greet you at your hotel and assist you to Sharm El Sheikh airport. Flight to Luxor Your estimated arrival in Luxor will be around 7:00 AM. Upon landing, your personal guide will be waiting for you, holding a sign with our logo for easy identification. Welcome to Luxor After arriving at the airport, your guide will meet you. All our guides are well-informed about your travel details, making it easy for you to spot the Canary Tours sign. From there, we'll take care of everything! **Explore the West Bank** Next, your guide will take you to the West Bank of Luxor, an archaeological treasure known as the "City of the Dead." Marvel at the rich history of Pharaonic temples and venture into the Valley of the Kings, where you'll explore ancient Egyptian mythology through the eyes of Anubis. Visit the Valley of the Kings The Valley of the Kings consists of two main valleys and is renowned for royal tombs and chambers. With entry to three tombs included in your visit, you'll have the opportunity to see the resting places of major kings from Egypt's New Dynasty era. For an additional cost, you can also visit the tombs of Tutankhamun or Ramses VI. Temple of Hatshepsut Next, we’ll visit the stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to one of ancient Egypt's few female pharaohs. Queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of King Thutmose I, is known for establishing the world’s first trade network, making her temple an essential site of ancient history. The Colossi of Memnon Before lunch, you'll see the magnificent Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These stone giants, standing since 1350 BC, hold a mysterious reputation as they are said to produce strange vocalizations in the morning light, adding to their allure and history. Lunch Break Enjoy a delicious lunch at a 4-star restaurant, giving you a chance to relax and recharge for the adventures ahead. Temple of Karnak After lunch, we’ll head to Karnak Temple, dedicated to the king Amun Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khons. This enormous complex was developed over centuries by around 30 kings and features stunning examples of ancient Egyptian architecture, including the grand Hypostyle Hall and a forest of giant papyrus-shaped columns. Shopping & Free Time At the end of the day, you'll have an hour to shop for authentic Egyptian antiques, capture some beautiful pictures, or simply relax and enjoy your surroundings. Return to Sharm Finally, our guide will escort you back to the airport for your flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Upon your arrival, our representative will be there to take you back to your hotel. ---
